By Road
The nearest main town is Huddersfield, 5 Miles away. From the centre of Huddersfield leave the A62 Ring Road via A616 towards Holmfirth via Chapel Hill. At the traffic lights take the B6108 to Meltham. Just follow the road for approximately 4 miles until the cross roads in Meltham Village centre. Turn right and follow the road for ¾ Mile. Crab apple cottage is on the left hand side after Birmingham Lane.

There are rail stations at Huddersfield - 5 Miles, Slaithwaite - 3 Miles and Marsden - 5 miles away.
Air
It is within 1 hour to Manchester Airport, and just over an hour to Leeds/Bradford Airport.
Bus
There are buses from Huddersfield Town Centre every 10-15 mins to Meltham.
Sea
Liverpool & Hull are approximately 1½ hours.
